JAMMU & KASHMIR Two dead, nine injured in Gurez mishap | KNO Published 361 weeks ago on April 27, 2019 By KashmirNewsObserver Gurez, April 27 (KNO) : A women and a minor girl dead and nine others sustained injuries in a road accident at Gurez in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday. Reports reaching KNO said that a vehicle (Sumo) (JK01F-6330) was on its way to Gurez met with an accident at Zadkhusi Nahalla area of Gurez and fell down into a deep gorge. Reports added that in the mishap, a women Nani Bagem (50) and minor girl Tabasum Jan (10) dead on the spot while as nine others suffered major injuries and were evacuated to nearby hospital for treatment where the condition of one person is stated to be critical. A senior police officer confirmed to KNO that, a women and minor girl died on spot while as nine others were injured in the mishap. "A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations were taken up," the official said.
